BIOGRAPHY

Roland Damann is the Managing Director of MicroBubbles, a subsidiary of Germany’s Federal Agency for Leap Innovations. A pioneering entrepreneur, he has led more than 350 water sector projects in over 50 countries, including work for the UN Development Programme.

Roland holds over 60 patents and is internationally recognised for his advances in microplastic reduction and sustainable water treatment. His company operates research sites across Germany and has licensed technologies in China and the Middle East.
