H2O Innovation has acquired bestUV, a Netherlands-based maker of ultraviolet water disinfection systems, pushing into a market shaped by tightening water safety rules worldwide. The deal closed May 4, 2026. Frédéric Dugré, President and CEO of H2O Innovation, called it "a defining milestone" for the company.

BestUV brings an established customer base spanning OEMs, engineering firms, municipalities, and industrial operators across multiple regions. That network arrives intact, complete with distributor and partner relationships built over years of commercial operation. For clients navigating stricter water quality regulations, the pairing offers broader compliance pathways through a single provider.
